Expert app but quirky lately (UPDATED)

I've been using this app for years and prefer information technology over competitor's offerings. I like that notifications can be configured and received for every transaction. However within the by week or so, these notifications take been arriving very tardily — like many hours after the transaction has occurred. E.g. if my wife makes a buy in the morning on her menu I won't see the transaction notification until the afternoon and I have to ask her if that was a legitimate transaction or not. It'due south not very helpful, please look into why these delays are occurring.

EDIT: reduced from five stars to 2 stars because the delays in the purchase notifications have gotten cool. I accept iOS and SMS notifications enabled for purchases and both accept been arriving OVER TWLEVE HOURS Afterward the actual purchase time. This is plain ridiculous. Please set!

EDIT2 (14Jan2020): OK back to five stars for now! The notifications issue seems to have been resolved as the "Instant Purchase Notifications" are back to beingness "instant". Overall I have no qualms about this app as it'southward easy to employ for the few basic things I need information technology to do, with the notifications thing beingness at the meridian of the list. Not practical for deposit account holders

From what I hear this app and Capital One as a whole is Astonishing for credit card holders only for those that ain eolith accounts this app really isn't that useful! I've been banking with Capital One for years and I can honestly say I miss a lot of the features the Uppercase One Wallet app used to provide. I'd love the developers of this app to take their deposit business relationship holders into consideration and add features like alerts when a eolith is made to my account as well every bit alerts when a transaction is made over a certain dollar amount. To be clear, when I say alerts I hateful actual notifications to my device sent from the app that appear on my domicile screen. I don't desire to take to receive alerts via text that is and then outdated plus I have plenty text threads as it is betwixt work and family. I'm first to feel similar Capital 1 isn't interested in investing in their eolith account holders now or even in the futurity. I believe this company is more focused and geared towards their credit and lending services. To exist off-white Chase not only provides these basic notification services to customers but they also have added the ability to view what you spend coin on weekly to their app. I do not want to close my accounts and become over to some other banking company because I truly bask banking with Cap. One. I dear everything from the customer service all the mode downwards to the debit carte pattern. But I take a feeling I will exit if I don't see whatever changes being made.

So very disappointed I'm Capital One.

I opened an account with Uppercase One in Dec of 2019 to rebuild my credit and I have never been late to this day. Not even during a very difficult time during the Pandemic, I still managed to make on time payments. I opened a quick silver account in September as an endeavour to accept more revolving credit and try to aid my credit more. I had an issue with my bank and it caused apayments that I made to both of my Capital One accounts to be returned. The bank state of affairs was resolved and My payments to both accounts were immediately paid. Capital One sent me an email alerting me that the payments were returned and asked me Covid was causing me to have financial hardship and asked me if I needed assistance. I didn't demand assistance, the event with my bank was resolved and I immediately made the payment to both my accounts still not causing me to be late on payments. I learn a couple of days later that my accounts were both being closed for FRAUD!! How practise you commit fraud on accounts that you make payments on monthly for well-nigh 2 years. One hurts me the most in this situation is that I've worked and so hard to build my credit and Capital One simply closes both of my accounts after sending me an email asking me if I need assist. Upper-case letter I closing these accounts has set me back and at present I probably tin't buy a firm. I'm so devastated! WHY SEND AN Email Request YOUR Client IF THEY Need HELP WHEN YOU DONT Actually MEAN It AND You HURT THEM INSTEAD OF HELPING THEM!!!!
